KVKK Clarification Notice

Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), this notice explains how SECAN BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ, as data controller, processes your personal data as a business owner using Secan Asistan.
1. Data controller

2. Personal data processed
Identity (name), contact (email address), information about your business, financial (billing) and transaction-security data (session, usage and security logs).
3. Purposes of processing
Providing the service and performing the contract, billing, ensuring information security and preventing abuse, fulfilling legal obligations, and communicating with you.
4. Legal grounds
Your data is processed under KVKK Art. 5 on the grounds that it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, the fulfilment of a legal obligation, and the legitimate interests of the controller provided your fundamental rights are not harmed.
5. Transfers (domestic & abroad)
Data may be transferred to providers such as Cloudflare (EU) for hosting, Anthropic (US) for AI processing, Meta/WhatsApp for message transport and Brevo for email. Cross-border transfers are made under KVKK Art. 9 via the Board-approved Standard Contract or appropriate safeguards.
6. Method of collection
Your personal data is collected electronically by automated and partly automated means during registration and use.
7. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)
Under KVKK Art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn if it is used for its purpose, request its correction/deletion and object to processing. You may send requests to inbox@secan.tech.
